This is usually enough instruction for students to gain a solid foundation with sailing skills and prepare them for a Livery Checkout and sailing solo or with friends in our sailboats. Private Lessons are a great option for new sailors who have a more restricted schedule as lessons are offered throughout the year at a variety of times.
Private Lesson Packages can be purchased for individual for 1-on1- lessons with an instructor OR may be purchased for a pair, family, or group of friends of up to three individuals at a time with an instructor. Learning to sail can be a fun team learning activity!
Once purchased, students may immediately begin booking 1- and 2-hour lesson slots that work for their schedule. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first lesson and check in with our front desk. You'll obtain your personal Progression Card to provide your sailing instructor to make will make notes to pass on to each subsequent instructor you may have.
The Private Lesson Package also makes a great gift for your favorite aspiring sailor(s)! Simply stop by our front desk to pick up the progression card with accompanying information and gift away! CWB members may purchase a discounted lesson package as a gift for anyone.
