Join in the fun at The Center for Wooden Boat's 17th Norm Blanchard W.O.O.D. (Wooden Open & One Design) Regatta, honoring the best known name in wooden boatbuilding and yachting in the Pacific Northwest. Norman C. Blanchard’s Blanchard Boat Company turned out more than 2,000 boats in 60+ years during the past century. Quality, performance and longevity are the hallmarks of Norm Blanchard.
The Norm Blanchard W.O.O.D. Regatta is open to all wooden boats - from El Toros to large racer cruisers. We also welcome the non-wood versions of traditional wood one-designs (e.g., Lightnings, San Juans, El Toros, Thunderbirds, etc.) .
Separate prizes will be awarded for small boats, large boats, and classic plastic boats.

- 9:30 AM - Skipper's Meeting (Boathouse Dock)
- 11:00 AM - First Race Start
- Break
- 4:00 PM - Last Race Start
- 4:30-6:00 - BBQ and Awards!
Once registered, you'll receive a confirmation email with link to our final registration form and waiver with information needed by the Racing Committee for handicapping, moorage options, updates, etc.
Please note: We're keeping things simple with nominal registration fees. Once registered, there are no refunds. Advising the RC of cancellation well in advance is an act of kindness to other racers and the committee.
Registration includes two BBQ tickets. Grab additional BBQ tickets now or later for extra crew or land-based family and friends. ALL ARE WELCOME! The BBQ will kick-off around 4:30 and after the last race!
