Breakfast for Boats

MOHAI, 860 Terry Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Wallace J. Nichols, Author of "Blue Mind"

Check-in opens at 7:00am. Family-style breakfast is served at 7:30am, and the program begins promptly at 7:40am. The event will end by 9:00am, allowing guests to get on their way to work.

Our keynote speaker, author Dr. Wallace J. Nichols(author of "Blue Mind: The Surprising Science That Shows How Being Near, In, On, or Under Water Can Make You Happier, Healthier, More Connected, and Better at What You Do"), will give a 20-minute talk during the event, and afterwards he'll be in CWB's Gallery next door for a book-signing from 9am-10am. Books will be available for sale.

Tickets for this event are $25 each, or $200 for a table of 10 (half-tables also available for $100).

The suggested minimum donation is $150 per person; thanks to generous leadership donors, gifts of $250 and above will be matched. Please consider making a gift of any amount that is significant to you.

Money raised at this event supports CWB's operations, allowing us to "change lives one boat at a time." During the event we will show a short video about our volunteers and the steam launch Puffin. To see videos from past years, check out our YouTube channel:

There will be a signal flag activity led by CWB Volunteer Sailing Instructor Cary Kaczowka. We'll have flag cards you to take home with you (and feel free to take extras back to your coworkers!).

Street parking is available in the neighborhood (especially at 7am), and you can park at the AGC building lot for just $5 (must request parking validation when you check-in). ADA parking is available near the museum.

If you have any questions, please contact Event Manager Aislinn Palmer at apalmer@cwb.org or (206) 382-2628 x22.

We look forward to seeing you on October 8th!
